The Eastgate Dental Practice has been established for over thirty years, and is situated in the heart of the Basildon Town Centre. We are easily accessible by public transport and there are plenty of car parking facilities in the town.
Our main objective is to maintain your dental health with a healthy mouth to enhance your smile and encourage a general sense of well being. We are dedicated to preventative dentistry and have a dental hygienist alongside our dentists, to assist in maintaining your oral health and encouraging preventative techniques.

Dr. Masoud Karimi
PRINCIPAL DENTIST
Dr Masoud Karimi, known as Roberto to his patients
Roberto did both his vocational training and qualified in Sweden
He later moved to Basildon in 2000 and worked as a General Dental Practitioner
He has worked and owned the Eastgate Dental Practice in Basildon with his friend and colleague for over 19 years
Roberto genuinely enjoys all aspects of dentistry with his main aim being, providing a high quality service to his patients. This includes cosmetic treatment, and tooth alignment.
Roberto is able to help the most nervous of patients feel at ease during treatment and believes in building a long lasting patient relationship. He likes to try to help patients achieve a smile they can be proud of.
Roberto is a family man and enjoys time with his young family.

Dr. Saeid Abbasi
PRINCIPAL DENTIST
Saeid qualified from the Aarhus University of Denmark in 1996.
He did his Vocational Training in Denmark
He later moved to London in May 2000 and worked in Basildon as a General Dental Practitioner
He has worked and owned the Eastgate Dental Practice in Basildon with his friend and colleague for over 19 years
He is friendly, approachable and will go out of his way to put you at your ease and explain all aspects of your dental treatment.
He has a keen interest in restoring teeth and giving people an aesthetic smile, as it can make a big difference to a person’s life.
He enjoys relaxing with his friends and a great game of football

Miss. Laurie Beck
HYGIENIST
Laurie worked as a qualified dental nurse for 5 years and wanted to continue her passion for dentistry, by studying dental hygiene at the University of Essex and qualified with distinction in Sept 2016
With over nine years experience, she has worked at a variety of practices in Norfolk and Essex.
Laurie is very caring and professional, she believes in positive motivation to help patients achieve the difficult task of excellent oral hygiene and looks forward to seeing cleaner teeth and healthier gums at future appointments from all the hard work patients do at home.
In her spare time she loves to socialise with friends and family. Keeping fit and healthy is also very important to her.

Infection control
In our practice, everyone enjoys the benefits of a clean, safe and disinfected environment. Our team performs every procedure based on the rules and regulations of the Department of Health and the British Dental Association, also we are registered in the Care Quality Commission.
Here, we only use disinfectant hand soaps. All dentists and members wear gloves and face masks during any kind of treatment. All counters and surfaces are disinfected by chemicals on a daily basis and before every use, equipment will be sterilized. Materials are disposable and instruments for root canal therapy are used just once.
